Saturday, Aug. 11
“Silents Under the Stars” event, will be held 6 p.m.  Aug.11 at at William S. Hart Park in Newhall. The featured silent film is a rare William S. Hart film called “The Whistle.” It is one of Hart’s hard-to-find non-Western movies.  In addition, there will be a Bill Hart Western short. Men of Harmony Chorus seeks voices
The SCV Men of Harmony Chorus meets 7:30-9:45 p.m. every Tuesday, Valley Oaks Village Apartments, 24700 Valley Street  Santa Clarita. The group’s specialty is singing in four-part harmony without musical accompaniment, also known as a cappella singing.
