Sunday, Aug. 26
The Boot Campaign raises money for soldiers healing from a variety of physical and emotional combat wounds through the sale of military-issue combat boots. The Boot Ride motorcycle ride and rally — check in 10:30 a.m., roll out 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26. Men of Harmony Chorus seeks voices
The SCV Men of Harmony Chorus meets 7:30-9:45 p.m. every Tuesday, Valley Oaks Village Apartments, 24700 Valley St., Santa Clarita. The group’s specialty is singing in four-part harmony without musical accompaniment, also known as a cappella singing. All singing men in any voice range are welcome. Domestic Violence Center counseling

SCV Food Pantry needs volunteers
The SCV Food Pantry needs volunteer drivers to pick up donations from local markets and businesses. Drivers must have a valid California driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 pounds and the willingness to help those less fortunate in the Santa Clarita Valley. Volunteer drivers are asked to commit to one day per week. Regularly scheduled pick ups with Food Pantry vehicles are made Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. Pine Mountain Club Fall Festival
The 37th annual Pine Mountain Club Fall Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1-2. A hometown parade will kick off the festivities at 11 a.m. Saturday in PMC’s Village Center, with entertainment and family-friendly activities, arts and crafts vendors, food and drink, and games for all ages.
