Letter: A World-War II Hero

Harry Bell was my hero, as are all of the WWII guys.

He flew 50 missions in total, including raids over Ploesti, Romania, that took out oil wells, denying fuel to the enemy war machine.

Harry was a flight engineer and gunner who was in charge of rationing his B-24 crew’s fuel.

God bless you, Harry Bell. Thank you so much for serving your country. Fly into the arms of the Lord.
