Andrew Edward Briseno: Democratic lies

I am glad that Democrat spokesmen are amused by accurate letters such as Mr. Cognata's.

Democrat apologists apparently no longer have the capacity to recognize what is obvious to any moral, honest person. To a Democrat apologist, there are no moral benchmarks.

The absurd proposition that the Republican-in-name-only George W. Bush's so-called war was "illegal" is classic Democrat revisionist "history." Frankly, this American citizen could not care less what the rest of the world thinks about America when America justifiably takes military action to defend itself.

That the Democratic Party leaders who voted for armed aggression by the American military after Sept. 11, 2001, and that those same Democratic leaders now are trying to pretend they took no part in sending American soldiers to fight and kill America's enemies is the classic Democrat lie.

The current Democrat leadership has operated that way since at least the middle of the civil rights era, when Democratic Gov. George Wallace stood in the doorway of a Birmingham, Ala., school and declared that blacks would not be permitted in that school.

And now they act as if the Democratic Party always supported civil rights. Democrats behave as if they were well trained by Joseph Goebbels; repeatedly telling "the big lie."

I say nothing is more hateful than a liar. The liar behaves as if he or she is the "Oracle at Delphi" while the lies betray obvious disdain of those whom the liar is intentionally deceiving.

You Democrat apologists know you are festering pimples on the hind end of America who have led to America's problems.

You are doubtless proud of the damage you have intentionally inflicted on this great country. The rest of us will speak the truth. Regards.
