Closing arguments in the murder trial of an Agua Dulce man could happen as early as today, the prosecutor assigned to the case said.

Deputy District Attorney Susan Choi said she expects to call two more witnesses to the stand in Lancaster Superior Court today to present evidence against Dennis Keene.

Once that’s done, all the evidence — barring any last-minute cross examination — will have been presented to the six-man, six-woman jury.

Keene, 64, is charged with murder and drunken driving in the 2011 crash that killed his neighbor Lori Lindlief, 55, while she was walking her dogs on an Agua Dulce street.

Keene’s defense lawyer, James Bates, called all his witnesses to the stand Friday.
