Brady White threw for 390 yards and three touchdowns as Hart rolled to a 35-0 victory over Saugus Friday at College of the Canyons.

Prior to the game, Hart honored graduate and Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore, by retiring his No. 17 jersey.

Hart (7-1, 3-0) grabbed a 7-0 lead with 7:02 to play in the second quarter with a 19-yard screen pass from White to Wes Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick then came up with a big play on defense as he intercepted quarterback Marc Langford on the ensuing Saugus possession.

Starting with good field position at the Centurion 46 yard line, Hart capitalized on the turnover to take a 14-0 lead with just under two minutes in the fist half, by way of a 7-yard scamper by Connor Wingenroth.

In the second half, more miscues by Saugus (2-6, 0-3) turned into points for the Indians.

With 7:46 to play in the third, Langford fumbled after being crushed from behind by Cody Shoemaker.

Garrett Updegraft recovered the loose ball for Hart.

On the very next play, White connected with Trent Irwin for a 50-yard touchdown to extend the lead to 21-0.

Irwin finished with a game-high 141 yards receiving on five catches.

Just 45 seconds after the score, Griffin Scott recovered another fumble by Langford to give Hart the ball back at the Saugus 25-yard line.

After a 24-yard pass from White to Fitzpatrick, Updegraft finished the job with a 1-yard touchdown plunge.

With the score, Hart held a 28-0 lead with 6:31 to play in the third.

White recorded his third and final touchdown pass of the night to Wingenroth with 6:13 left in the game.

Wingenroth made the catch on his own 35-yard line, made a couple jukes, then proceeded to outrun the defense down right sideline for a 75-yard completion.

The junior finished with five catches for 121 yards, 14 carries for 38 yards, and two total touchdowns.

White finished the game 22-for-31 for 390 yards and three touchdowns.

Fitzpatrick had six catches for 75 yards with a score.

As for Saugus, the defense played well despite being put into bad situations throughout.

They played inspired, even stopping Hart’s potent offense on a critical fourth down attempt early in the ball game.

Chase Madrigal, Noah Belt, and Steven Kwak each had one sack for the Centurions.

Saugus will look to record its first Foothill victory of the season when it hosts Golden Valley on Friday.

As for Hart, after falling in its opener to Tesoro, the Indians have now rattled off seven straight victories.

However, they’ll be tested in their next matchup as they try to stay unbeaten in Foothill league play Friday at Valencia.
