Firefighters have extinguished a blaze that broke out in a multi-family structure on Seco Canyon Road early this morning, according to officials.

Eddie Pickett, a supervising fire dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, said the department received reports of a fire at a two-story structure on the 28100 block of Seco Canyon Road at 1:32 a.m.

Fire officials called knock-down on the scene at 2:24 a.m. and no injuries were reported in the incident, according to Lt. John Rush of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Rush said Seco Canyon Road was closed in the area to accommodate firefighting personnel. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
