Members of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to install guardrails, roadway signs, pavement markers and additional striping in and around Acton.

The road improvements will be made on Angeles Forest Highway between Sierra Highway and Angeles Crest Highway and are expected to cost between $725,000 and $1 million.

Supervisors also voted to find that the project is exempt from provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act.
