Canyon graduate Jordan Markovich will play soccer any way he can.

After playing soccer the past two seasons with two different schools, he’s adding a third to his list with a commitment to Cal State University, Los Angeles on Thursday.

After graduating high school in 2011, the former two-time All-Santa Clarita Valley first-team selection spent his freshman year of college playing at Azusa Pacific University before playing for College of the Canyons this past fall.

The college junior said he was not on scholarship for each school, but he may become eligible for one after he officially signs with CSULA.

“It’s a really nice campus,” Markovich said of his soon-to-be school in Los Angeles. “The soccer at least is a real professional atmosphere.”

As a freshman at APU, Markovich played in all 20 of the team’s games, started 11 of them and scored a goal and added two assists.

He was named to the All-SCV first team as a junior and senior, scoring 12 goals as a senior in 2010-11.
