The Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital hosts the quarterly Care for Your Heart Health Fair from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 13 at the Santa Clarita Community Center, 22421 Market Street in Newhall.

The fair is designed to help attendees learn how healthy their heart is and what they can do to reduce their risk of developing coronary heart disease.

The fair offers free heart health education materials, smoking cessation information, and a series of health screenings, including blood-pressure monitoring, height and weight analysis, body-fat analysis, oxygen saturation and carbon monoxide measurement, cholesterol test (12-hour fasting recommended), glucose test, heart health summary and healthy diet tips.

In addition to the screenings, hospital staff will answer questions and hand out health summaries so patients can record their results.

The health fair is open to the public and admissions and screenings are free.

For more information about the next fair call (661) 253-8408.

The hospital is a 221 bed not-for-profit acute care hospital serving the Santa Clarita Valley since 1975.
