Vino 100 hosts two exclusive screenings of the highly acclaimed movie, "Bottle Shock," to coincide with the film's national DVD release, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, at 28112 Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia. Lannette Pabon, one of several screenwriters credited for the film, will sign DVDs at Thursday's showing. "Bottle Shock" tells the story of the historic 1976 wine-tasting contest known as the "Judgment of Paris," where, for the first time, American vintners managed to defeat the French in a blind tasting to crown the ultimate Cabernet and Chardonnay. Screening is limited to 20 people and reservations are required.

Admission is $15 per ticket. Vino 100's phone number is (661) 294-6886.
