In the Santa Clarita Valley, talent can be found almost anywhere. A program that has really caught my eye is the West Ranch High School Theatre. I recently saw their latest production “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” and was extremely pleased by the professionalism the show had to offer. The Broadway style musical included memorable snippets of Schultz’s famous Peanuts comics enacted by students from West Ranch. Although the performance was put on by high school students, their acting and musical abilities are beyond that of their years. Each and every actor was incredibly believable and they each have tremendous voices. I found the show very touching and very, very funny for both children and adults alike. The talents found in the theatre program really shine through in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”. Performances are free to local elementary schools and run March 18 through May 2. Schedule a show by contacting Christopher Cook, West Ranch’s Director of Theatre Arts at, 661-22-1220 ext. 601.

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up and there is sure to be some great local events and parties. Mulligans Restaurant & Pub has been in the valley for over 30 years, bringing people good food and a good time. They serve lunch specials weekdays from 11am – 2pm and dinner service starts up at 5pm, serving up an amazing prime rib and steak selection. In addition to great food, visit Mulligans lounge and challenge your friends to a round of darts during happy hour or sing your heart out on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night. Every second Friday of the month, Mulligans features a great local band like Tribute, so you can dance the night away or just simply enjoy the atmosphere and music. Mulligan’s is located off McBean Parkway and Tournament Road, so look for the sign to this hidden gem! As one of the only Irish themed pubs in the valley, be sure to check out what exciting events they have planned for this year’s holiday.

Stay tuned for more St. Patty’s day information from me next week! Get your green on!

They had me at, “Let’s dramatically lower your electricity bill with no money out of pocket for you.”

SunPower by Green Convergence wasn’t kidding – they don’t have to. Here you have a truly nice group of people that clearly want to do what is best for the customer and all I had to do is get them a little bit of information. They do the rest with, get this… No pressure, nope, not at SunPower by Green Convergence. They have a company-wide mandate – No Pressure.

Green Convergence is an elite dealer of SunPower products. SunPower’s solar panels produce more energy than any other panels on the market. They work the best… And they also look the best. Since SunPower Signature Black™ panels don’t have grid lines; they blend in to the roof on your home. SunPower panels are also backed with the industry’s best warranty.

I have seen their work on homes which stand side-by-side with homes having different systems in place and I have to say, Sunpower by Green Convergence does not lie about the esthetics of their system. Low profile, neat and truly pleasing to my eye, they win hands down.

Looking for an alternative to paying a high electricity bill? Maybe you feel environmentally obligated to do something different. Give Sunpower by Green Convergence a call for your home or business at 661.294.9999.
