Boydston to speak at next SCOPE meeting

Santa Clarita Organization for Planning and the Environment (SCOPE), now celebrating its 21st year of service to the Santa Clarita Valley, invites residents to its February meeting to hear Guest Speaker Former City Councilman TimBen Boydston.

Boydston's topic: "One Valley, One Vision: When is enough, enough? Does the SCV really have room for 500,000 people?"

The meeting is Thursday, Feb. 19 starting 7 p.m. at  Valencia Summit Main Clubhouse, 24600 Del Monte Drive, Valencia 91355.

(Turn onto Summit Place from Rockwell Canyon Road, then left on Del Monte; clubhouse is on the right.)

Following Boydston, SCOPE will hold its regular meeting. Agenda items include Whittaker-Bermite CAG, the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital office expansion, local project updates and new business from the floor.
