The AMGEN Tour of California will bring a professional bicycle stage race to the Santa Clarita Valley from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. McBean Parkway and Town Center Drive in Valencia. The world's top professional teams will compete at start of Stage 7 to Pasadena. Info:

The Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society Lecture Series will partner with "Flickers at the Junction" to present "The Life and Death of James Dean: Tracing His Last Day" at 2 p.m. Feb. 28. The program will include a panel discussion with guest speakers and a special showing of Dean's 1955 classic, "Rebel Without A Cause." Saugus Train Station at Heritage Junction. Midwinter Madrigal Feast," a fundraising event to benefit the nonprofit Santa Clarita Master Chorale, will be held 5 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at the Valencia Hyatt, 24500 Town Center Drive, Valencia.
