Signal welcomes new ad director

Andrew Loughlin has joined the Signal Multimedia staff as advertising sales executive manager, Publisher Randy Morton announced this week.

“I’m happy that Andrew has joined our team,” Morton said, “He has lots of experience in creating innovative, needs-based promotional programs designed to grow business for our customers.”

Prior to joining Signal Multimedia, Loughlin served as manager of training & development for Valpak of Las Vegas and as a senior sales manager for the Greenspun Media Group in Las Vegas for over nine years. While at Greenspun Media Group, he managed the advertising consulting teams for seven community newspapers called the Home News, with a total distribution of more than 270,000. 

His 24 years in advertising also include work with AT&T Yellow Pages, as well as Harte Hanks Penny Saver and as publisher and owner of the Community Shopper previously distributed in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Loughlin said he is happy to be back in Santa Clarita where much of his advertising sales and consulting career began.

“My success in assembling quality advertising sales teams has been directly connected with our capability to create a bridge between traditional print and the digital marketing products that are so necessary for businesses today,” he said. “At Signal Multimedia, we no longer just sell advertising but rather, we offer media solutions that encompass many platforms. There is no other media option in Santa Clarita that engages as many consumers as Signal Multimedia.”

Loughlin’s appointment is effective immediately, Morton said.
