Fresh off its first NAIA World Series appearance in over a decade, the Mustangs are continuing to enjoy the fruits of their labors.

On Monday, two Mustangs were named to NAIA All-American teams.

Steve Karkenny earned first team honors after batting .348 on the year with 11 home runs, 25 stolen basses and a Golden State Athletic Conference-leading 59 RBIs.

Karkenny was previously named the GSAC Player of the Year.

GSAC Pitcher of the Year A.J. Work received honorable mention honors after going 13-4 on the mound with a 2.40 ERA.

The senior pitcher struck out 80 batters and leaves the school as TMC’s winningest pitcher of all time.

TMC finished the season with a 44-17 record, the most wins in school history, and won the GSAC.
