The City of Santa Clarita will install a new steel bridge to replace an older structure across Goldcrest Drive in the Valencia Summit neighborhood starting on Monday, July 1, 2013.

The Goldcrest Drive pedestrian bridge is expected to be closed for approximately 12 weeks.  During the demolition of the existing bridge, Marsala Drive and Del Monte Drive will be closed for three days between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Area residents should expect periodic construction noises, lane closures and are advised to take alternate routes around Goldcrest Drive.

The construction project is part of the City’s efforts to maintain high-quality bridges through paseo infrastructure upgrades.

For more information about the construction of the new paseo bridge, please contact Engineering Consultant Monica Heredia at (661) 255-4332.
