Do you think online voting should be available for local, state and national elections?

Voters already have absentee ballots available. This isn’t “American Idol”.
If they can’t get off their fannies to go in person to exercise one of the greatest privileges of living in a free country as well as to honor those who have sacrificed life and limb for it – then they shouldn’t be voting at all! These are also likely the same ones who don’t have a clue on what or who they are voting for because they’re too lazy to study the issues or the candidates. And if they claim not to have the “time” to do either, then they don’t even deserve to live here…

I think internet voting would be a good thing. The argument against internet voting could be the same one used against electronic poll voting today compared to the old paper ballots. Counting paper ballots in these times by hand would take too much time and public money. Internet voting would get more voter participation which is sadly lacking these days. It could also produce a paper trail as anyone knows who has ever purchased anything online.
