If the City of Santa Clarita had an extra $1 million to spend, which of these would be the best use?

Is there a reason the money HAS to be spent? What about saving it for those inevitable "rainy days?"

The senior center can put it to good use.

There should be an option to "SAVE IT". Since there isn't I didn't vote. This poll is EXACTLY what is wrong with the US & city governments as well as the majority of people.

Karen how would the city save it? Maybe open a CD at a bank? Not a good return on CDs these days. Don't give the government more ideas on what to do with your money. Next thing you'll hear the IRS investing refunds in Treasury Notes and spending any anticipated proceeds before they are actually realized. I voted for a reduction in taxes since I hear more about how taxes are too high than anything else. Why not just give the money back to the taxpayers as an overpayment tax credit? I like to save my own money.

If enough revenue could be found or expenses cut from the budget, it could be used to reduce the tax millage rate. A nice reward if you are a property owner or local business around these parts.

Any excess revenues should be returned to the producers, i.e. taxpayers.
