Do losses from the recent fire show a need for L.A. County to purchase Super Scoopers?

It's a state responsibility. However, there could be cost sharing among neighboring states and CA counties.

There is a fire in San Bernadino County.
They have access to a DC10 for fire fighting.

Firefighters come from every part of the state. So should the fire fighting equipment.

However, the state does not seem to meet the needs of the middle class who "pay the bills" and live in the suburban fire areas. The state would rather pay the needs of illegals living in the inner cities.
